My Summer Bucket List

Summer Bucket List2

Hello Lovelies

So I finally put together my Summer Bucket List! It’s more of a warmer weather bucket list since I didn’t do a separate one for Spring. I figured it would make more sense to just make one since most of these could be done in either season. Some of these are just for me, some are things to do with the kids, and others are things to do with just my husband. I will re-write the list in this post since the end of the picture is a little hard to see.

One Little Word to Set Your Year

Hello Lovelies!!

I know, I haven’t posted in some time. Unfortunately, there were other family issues and mishaps that took my attention. I am going to start posting when I can and hopefully will be able to start a schedule back up later.

Let’s get started!

I recently came across a project that was posted on Instagram. I’m new to it but others have been doing it for years. What is it? It’s a word you pick at the beginning of the year to sort of set your year around. Something like a mantra. You make the word visible to remind you of your goal or what you need to work on.

As you can see I have been listing some words and from there I will pick what really speaks to me. I have also added explore to my list.
While most of these words I could use, I am leaning more towards focus. It’s something that I really need to remember to do. There are also areas in my life where I really need to apply it more.

So that I can remember to apply it to all things through out the year, I will be using it in my planner (that I look at daily), I plan to create a wall hanging and put it somewhere that I will see daily as well, and I will create a mission statement of sorts to really stick it home. Once I get some things together, I will be sure to show them.

People that I have heard doing this really see an improvement in their year, so I really hope it will help me as well.

If you have done this, what word did you use and how did it help you through the year? If you plan to do this, what is the word you plan to use?

As always, thank you for stopping by and I hope your day is filled with Bliss

Fall Bucket List!

Hello Lovelies! I know you have heard everyone talk about it in one way or the other, but I haven’t yet. So here we go!

FALL IS COMING!!! That’s right, the hot days of summer are passing. Now the days of cooler weather, hoodies, leaves changing color, pumpkin everything (and the list could go on) are coming up on us. It is, seriously, one of the greatest times of the year.

Every season, I have a list of things I want to do. Except, I don’t write them down (*GASP* me not making a list?) and then I forget until usually too late or I only get a few activities done. So this Fall I am making a Fall Bucket List. In fact I think before each season I will make a bucket list. That way I can continuously look at it and see what I can do when I have the extra time. List view will also let me cross off the things as I do them. Seriously, I LOVE lists!

Now, I had planned to make this list more interesting (or pretty if you will) with a graphic, but my computer with all my programs and saved things stopped working. Yes, I cried. Maybe it will get fixed… someday.

Okay. Let us get on with my Fall Bucket List: Top 20 (which is basically everything 🙂  )

Fall Bucket List      Pumpkin Farm

  1. Visit a pumpkin patch
  2. Visit an apple farm
  3. Go on a hayride
  4. Find our way through a corn maze
  5. Go to a haunted house or trail
  6. Go hiking!
  7. Go to a football game
  8. Carve pumpkins!
  9. Roast pumpkin seeds
  10. Enjoy a pumpkin spice latte (yes I had to add that!)
  11. Bake as many pumpkin things as possible
  12. Roast s’mores in the fire pit
  13. Eat candy apples
  14. Drink hot apple cider
  15. Make leaf prints
  16. Make apple prints
  17. Make apple or pumpkin scented play dough
  18. Watch Hocus Pocus!!!!
  19. Have a scary movie date
  20. Watch Nightmare Before Christmas (yes I watch this for Christmas time as well)

So as you can see, it is a big list. There are things that will be perfect to do with my kids as well as things for just Hubby and I. Even a few just for myself, latte anyone? So what does everyone else have planned for Fall? Anything that is basically tradition? I would love to hear from you!

Thank you for stopping by 🙂 I hope your day is filled with bliss
